Do you have to have the federal brand ?so I have been trying to locate fed LR 215 primers for what seems forever. Is there a comparable primer that is still available?? thanks!!!
I use CCI 250 Magnum primers in all my magnums, short and long . They work great for me.
S&B primers are or have a bit harder cup in them so i light primer hit may not go off ! I have shot thousands and thousands of them and never had a problem unless my AR trigger was tuned below a 3 lb pull ! Light strikes will result. And i always drop .5 grains of powder and test,,,, because they are hotter primersI guess I don't "need" them it's just what I've used for yrs I had some seller an bellot pistol primers an had 12 out of 100 not go off so I will not use those again. I do like the Winchester lrm. I will look around again thanks guys!!!!
