so I have been trying to locate fed LR 215 primers for what seems forever. Is there a comparable primer that is still available?? thanks!!!

Just last week they had these GM215M LARGE MAG RIFLE the Gold Medal Match Large Rifle primers at Cabelas, I ordered 1000. I just checked and they are now out.
Had a friend that needed powder so we split hazmat, they had a $20.00 Hazmat charge so shipped they cost me $50.00
Just keep your eye out they may pop up again.gun)

Do you have to have the federal brand ?

WW primers and sellier bellot are readily available at cabelas and sportmans warehouse, I know from experience the S&B small rifle primers are pretty dang hot....

I guess I don't "need" them it's just what I've used for yrs I had some seller an bellot pistol primers an had 12 out of 100 not go off so I will not use those again. I do like the Winchester lrm. I will look around again thanks guys!!!!

S&B primers are or have a bit harder cup in them so i light primer hit may not go off ! I have shot thousands and thousands of them and never had a problem unless my AR trigger was tuned below a 3 lb pull ! Light strikes will result. And i always drop .5 grains of powder and test,,,, because they are hotter primers

And another plus is they are usually about 10 bucks per thousand cheaper than WW

my ol man uses them in his rifle and that's why I tried them, I used them in my ruger Blackhawk maybe I just don't have enough spring pressure??? seemed to me that I hit hard enough. It just put a bad taste in my mouth if ya know what I mean.....
