I have never seen that packaging, but it is the same number and nomenclature. Of course it says not for commercial use. You could just send them to me and I'll be happy to test them for you.

That is probably the best way to go

I have some small rifle primers packaged like that.
I believe what I have was intended for use in auto loading guns....
Never seen any mag.primers like that....
Maybe a military contract...???

Those in the white box are the same, just how CCI packages primers for the ammo manufacturers and they are not supposed to be resold to the public.

CCI responded to my inquiry:

"These are going to be the same primer with the only difference being they are packaged without the colored label for sales to ammunition manufacturers."

Same animal, different wrapper. I have and use both in large, small, an magnum. May want to look at build date if possible. Course I do that on all components I purchase. Happy loading.

I purchased 1K small pistol primers in the same packaging. Was worried they wouldn't ignite in my competition handgun. Loaded up 100 rds with zero issues.
