l experianced some primer blanking on some 300 RUM brass and was wondering if it was from loose primer pockets?

Not really. More likely you have a weak firing pin spring or a loosely fitted pin hole or both. Try some Federal primers.

Possibly bumping the shoulder too far back. Make certain your getting a proper fit in your chamber. You could have too much headspace for consistent ignition. YMMV

I had it happen on a Rem 700 Rifle Basic trigger. It caused a small particle to break the sear engagement. Called RB and they sent me a new trigger. My smith felt it was a headspace issue.
