Just remember....it is not just substitute a powder per weight...it all has to be reconfigured...and find good starting data....

So I've always found rl33 to be the replacement for h1000. I'm sure a lot has to do with barre length. I'm running rl33 with 181 hammers in a 26" tube.
Probably right on the middle of barrel length shorter26 should shine longer rl33 should be a bit better but again all is in theory.

Faster burning than Retumbo, higher energy density = less charge weight. A few pounds sit in my stash because it was too fast in my two rifles, giving me pressure signs before I could achieve the velocities I had with Retumbo.
