White dust ???

Hi guys,

I'm shooting FTR and when cleaning the barrel, I'm seeing a white powder/ash/dust come out of the barrel when the brush exists at the muzzle.

My load is
lapua brass
fed 210m primers
SMK 155gr palmas 2156
and varget

I am running them on the hot side @ 3150fps

It's a Truflite barrel in 1 in 13"

any ideas??

It,s just Ash. (Burnt powder). Normally you dont dry brush an when you use a solvent you wont
see the dust.

I use a bore snake in the field just to sweep it out before the next shot because it also has carbon
in it and it is abrasive to the barrel.

In other words "Its Ok"
