Is Dupont PB powder suitable for reloading the 223 Rem. cartridge? I know it was widely used for pistol and some shotshell loads but I don't know about rifles. I ask because I have 14 unopened 1lb cans of this powder and I'm looking for a use for it. I don't shoot that much 9mm, 45, etc. All help greatly appreciated!:)

No.

Way to fast for anything other than possibly extremely lite cast bullet loads. Even then powder position issues could cause squib loads and I'd say rl7 or similar. Keep it to shotshell or light pistol where it does well.
