Last photos before hunting season, last day to watch the PA ELK CAM also...the rut is on, bugles are everywhere, 30 degree nighttime temps.. I only hope that all these live photos of BULLS has stirred your hearts and made you feel like the night before your first deer hunt, good luck to everyone, everywhere...be safe and may you dreams come true...

So what happens to the sheds from these bulls? They might be worth looking for.
In March when they shed, there are traffic jams with shed hunters...I was thinking about opening a roadside hot dog and soda stand then, I'd make a small fortune over 3 weeks..I'll post some pics then...

This past spring a nice bull was hanging around our camp, and one day my son who stays there noticed one side of his rack was gone. The bull walked about 100' and my son saw the other side drop off.
So he walked to where the bull had been and found both horns pretty close together.
So they are now mounted on the front of the camp.
Those who live there and watch the bulls have an advantage.
I have an old friend who has lived in Castle Garden his entire life.
Now retired in his late 70s he has a very large collection, many matched sets, some from the same bull in successive years.
He found another big matched set this year.
