Over the counter tag state?

Here is link I found a few years ago I'm sure some things have changed but it might be a starting point.

The only over the counter tag in CO is archery.
I do bow hunt so if that is my only option then I would do that. Just not sure where to start I've have never hunted them and usually do my own self guided hunts on public ground. I may have to look for a mentor or even do a self guided one through an outfitter?

Over the counter and pronghorn do not really go in the same sentence. There is a archery pronghorn tag in MT 700 I think that covers huge area and is easy to draw maybe not 100 percent with zero points but close I think. Should have been buying some cheap Wyoming points. No one bow hunts those tags before rifle starts you have it all to yourself pretty much.
New Mexico and Idaho both have draw hunts and are not on the point system, low odds for good hunts but applying for 9/10 states I draw at least one single digits odds tag every year for something. Dig in and do some homework, but options are limited. SE Colorado has some leftovers also for muzz usually.

Tell me more about MT antelope hunting, please.
There's a draw, the Region 7 tag is pretty easy to get, I've never not drawn it when applying for it. There's antelope, typically you drive around, look for them with optics, find them, make sure they're in public/BMA, then go shoot them. What do you want to know? I think NR tags are line $300-ish.

Thank you! I will get right on applying.

Sorry to inform ya, all our dang pronghorn migrated to Wyoming for some reason, heck most our elk and deer have moved too so best to look directly at Wyoming for tags... 😜
Yes! That's correct! They're all in Wyoming. Ha! WY has had leftover doe tags in the past. Check around Casper.
Region 7 in MT is no longer a 100% draw. I thinks it's more like 40%. 15K applications and 6-7k tags. We're getting a lot more applications these days….
