Weathers getting cold, pelts are getting thick, and i just bought a remington model 700 sps varmint chambered in a 243. win. I just as of this afternoon topped it off with a Vortex Viper 6.5-20x44mm. Now this set up is beautiful but heavy and need a good solid rest. So im interested in a bipod or sticks.

I was wondering if i should get a 9-13" for prone, 13.5-27" for sitting or get the 9-13 for prone and some shooting sticks for sitting?

will be doing a lot of coyote, small game, plinking and target shooting with this rifle

I CANT WAIT, IT LOOKS REALLY GOOD AND THE SCOPE IS AWESOME.

I use a Vanguard Quest t62 tripod sitting. I have been looking at BOGgear tripods lately. I also have two of that model of the Vortex scopes that I really like.
