Anyone have any experience with Hardy Rifles or Southfort Labs rifle stocks?
(sorry if this has been discussed somewhere)

Does anyone use AG composites stocks? I know Manners and Mcmillan are great, but wanted to check out these other options and see if anyone has used them for lightweight builds.

Doing a custom build and wanted to see if anyone has used these stocks

Thanks
Hardy composite stocks & barrels are starting to become popular in New Zealand especially for the mountain hunting, worth doing your home work

So as far as weight goes ok but not great. Both Oregunsmithing and Brown Precision make 16oz stocks. And the Daughter of what was MPI makes a 12oz stock, finished weight!! I don't know the name of her company as I lost it from the last time I talked with her. Right now I'll probably go for the Oregonsmithing unless I can get her contact info. Current weight on my 6.5 Swede is 6lbs 7.8oz. But the factory stock is 24oz( there's 8 ounces to lose there) and with the 4-12x44 Leupold I can shave at least 6 by going to a 3-9x33 Leupold which plenty of scope out to 4 or 500 yards. So I'm hoping to be just a tad over 5.5 lbs scoped.. and that's with a steel action and a SS 24" barrel.
