Does anyone recognize this rifle? It is a custom R700 in 338 Lapua. I am trying to find some info on a possible builder. I may have the opportunity to get it.

If that is built on a Rem 700 action I would pass. Factory rifles in 338 Lapua have larger actions for a reason.

I have several 338 Lapua/ that bolt face cartridges in R700/ Defiance actions. If you don't max it out and beat on it needlessly you can get good performance out of them.
Kind of like driving a race car in traffic. If that's something that would frustrate you, then IMO pass.
But it's a cool looking rifle, and Honda Civics work fine in traffic jams...
