We helped a local customer work up a load in his new 300 rum with N570. Was a Beautiful load running our 199g Hammer Hunter at 3300 fps and shooting 5/8" at 200y. Next day he said that he was going to have to re load develop because the N570 was so dirty that he couldn't use it.

Anybody else feel this way?

No!

Yeah, the only problem I see with N570 is keeping it in inventory. I developed a load with it in my 338 rum shooting 250 bergers at 3070 FPS. Yesterday I shot a .19 moa group at 200 yards. That stuff is magic dust. If he wants to quit using it, tell him to send all his my way. I'll gladly take it.

I do find it a bit dirtier but not bad enough to want to stop using it. N570 has made my 7mm rem mag an absolute hammer with 180gr bullets. I'm getting 3050 fps and 1/2 MOA out to 725 yards so I think I'll put up with having to clean the rifle a little more often.
That is what we see. Extra 100 fps in everything we have used it in. Stuff is magic. Far as I'm concerned they all turn patches black.

We were going to sell him some of ours. I'm not upset about not selling it!

I was using 570 in my 6.5 Sherman. Never found it to be overly dirty. Speed was incredible as you guys mentioned. Max load runs a 140 Berger at 3339 fps out of a 28" Hart.

Can you tell me you load 338 rum with 250 bergers? I have about 12 lbs of n570 and some 250 bergers.

Sorry to jack the thread but how temp sensitive is it?

I've not used it but I've been less than impressed with the sensitivity of RL33.
