Figured I’d try this and see how it worked with the 124 gr HH. Hornady says don’t go over 60. I loaded from 57 to 60 to see what the ladder looked like. The second shot went off and I was at 3223 fps and solid pressure. I mean real heavy bolt fight to get it open with marks on the brand new Lapua case head. Used BR2 primers also. So I don’t know what to make of this. I shot a third shot thinking yea a mistake. Nope third one just as tight as the second. What say ye merry gentlemen. And ladies. Looking for a clue. Was over 80 degrees but still should not have been there at 57.3 gr.

Load data is specific to the bullet, not general to all the bullets that weigh the same.

When I am loading a bullet I cannot find data for, I'll start ~10% below similar bullets, which is pretty standard procedure.

Vihtavuori shows 57.6 is max with 130 gr and velocity of less than 3100 so just the fact your getting 3223 is telling.
