Hey everyone, don't hang out here as much as I used to since I went to college. No money to shoot during the school year :(

However, this summer I have a project at GA Precision making product videos. I assume most people here know who GAP is, but in case you don't, they specialize in mid-long range accuracy oriented weapons. There are some base models, but essentially anything you want can be made.

Without further waiting, below is the video. It would help a lot to get some feedback!

Looks fun! I only advise to film on a less windy day, the wind noise was distracting. But I liked it anyway.

I agree with wind noise...although good to see it shoot with wind doping.

I really like picture in picture images.....

The wind was blowing about 30mph most of the day, the noise was simply unavoidable without an external shielded mic. It was much worse before enhancing the audio a lot, but still not where it needs to be. A video on a less windy day should turn out much better audio.

Thanks for the advice, I am excited to start working on the next video next week. It will be over a completely stock Crusader, so a lot of the same things where you guys should be able to see improvements pretty easily.

Here is video #2, focusing on the camera and audio work. More videos are coming next week, with the Crusader and Gladius both receiving a new video mixing up the style from videos #1 and #2.

Great Job Tyler!! You asked for constructive criticism so I want to bring up an impression I get. Are these rifles designed to be used in self defense or military rifles? Use of the term "Weapon" indicates that in my mind. For a hunting rifle I prefer the term " rifle" or "firearm" I guess this comes from my NRA instructor training. We were strickly taught to never refer to a gun as a weapon. NRA claims it gives the media a way to project bad thoughts about hunting and firearm ownership.

Thanks for sharing your work with us. You are doing a great job and I know you well enough to know you are lovig it.

Congrats!

Jeff

Hey Broz, thanks for the input. These rifles do actually see a lot of use overseas and for police and SWAT use, along with a rifle I will be doing a video on that we make for the FBI as well.

You are probably correct, most people don't see this for use against anything other than steel, paper, or game however, so weapon isn't the right choice of word.

Here's an addition to the last video. Will be the style for future videos:

And another! The best so far I think.

A Thunder Ranch review is planned, but not started yet. Look for it in a couple of weeks.

Here is a video of the Non-Typical. It was shot in awful conditions, to show you that the gun can perform even when our recording equipment can't. A nice mic did just show up in the mail for me though. :)

Another, with shots to 1k in 40 mph winds with the Hospitaller.
