will a muzzle break affect accuracy at all? or make you lose downrage hitting power? also can you convert a rem 700 adl to have a magazine clip? thanks

A muzzle break can change what load is accurate due to barrel harmonics, but shouldnt hurt the rifles over all accuracy. Your bullets spead should also not change with a break.

You can also change an ADL to a mag fed gun.

properly installed brake will not affect the potential accuracy of a rifle it will reduce felt recoil and you may shoot better with a brake

+1 w/ewallace. The key word is properly installed and best to have it done by a known quality gunsmith. It can be hard to tell but if not properly installed it could deteriorate accuracy or worse your safety.

+1 for the properly installed muzzle brake. As far as accuracy, for sake of starting an argument, find a rifle that has a properly installed muzzle brake, shoot a three shot group at known distance with muzzle brake installed. Then at same distance unscrew your muzzle break (given it is a removable muzzle break) and shoot 3 shots. Compare the groups, and there is your answer. I tried it, and was pleasantly amazed with the results of a muzzle break and the effect it had on accuracy.
