Mounting a NX8 on a long action

I am thinking of upgrading from a NXS 5.5-22x50 to an NX8 2.5-20 , I understand the short tube causes mounting issues, i want to mount it on a Tikka which are all long action and I wonder if there will be any issues mounting the scope and having eye relief issues?

Measure the distance between the rings on your tikka that you have now look up dimensions at nightforce website compare numbers

I wouldn't consider it an upgrade

If you have a rail you should be fine, if 2 piece mounts the short tube can give you problems.

You may be able to obtain the fore/aft eye relief if using a rail + rings, but you may need to go tall enough to need an adjustable cheek piece.
