Most consistent powder in 300 win

I'm running RL26 with 212 ELD-X with a MV of 2916 and an SD of 5.3. I don't usually shoot when it gets to be above 80-85 it's to warm for me and I don't hunt in those temps anyway. My primers are starting to flatten not bad and bolt lift is easy. Probably shouldn't say anything good about RL26 it's hard enough to find here in Washington.

I have had the best luck with RL-26 pushing 230 Berger's at 2948 from a 27.5" barrel. Great groups, low ES and SD's
The target is at 105 yards, the plate is at 1768 yards in South Dakota (pistol is for size reference)

RL26 is a bit temp sensitive... H1000 is basically the go to powder for the .300 Win Mag for me... if you can run the ELD 208 M above 3000 FPS around 3050 I haven't found another bullet that will hold its velocity out to 1760 yards. 1760 or 1 mile is distance myself and several others are trying to obtain...silly? Probably..

What length barrel?

Thanks for all the replies everyone. I'm trying my imr 8133 when I get back into loading this summer, and now am planning to acquire H-1000 and the elusive rl-26. The velocities you guys are reporting with that 26 makes me dizzy. Not skeptical, just floored. 8133 sounds super promising based on hodgdons data as well, so we'll see.

I have used both H1000(76gr) and Retumbo(79g) with 200gr ELD-x and 215gr Bergers with excellent results. Retumbo gives me an additional 50-75FPS at max pressure. 2900FPS out of my 24" Remington 700 Milspec. Both powders produce .25-.5MOA/<12ES.

Very good to hear. I'd been keeping retumbo in the back of my mind but had heard some negative things about velocity spreads. Glad to read this isn't your experience. If all other things are equal more fps is always better!

I've tried H1000 and 8133. I haven't dialed in my load yet but got 50-75 FPS more with h1000 than 8133. I was surprised the 8133 was slower in FPS.

The 215 Bergers. I also tried it in my 300 Rum and the h1000 was 50-75 FPS faster in the rum also... The ladders below were to find max load so be careful and work up.
