I'm a longtime Tikka shooter who got fed up with trying to find a left-handed CTR (and they don't make a left-handed UPR yet). Bought a Bergara B-14 HMR, left-handed in 6.5CM, and this thing is really nice. Shoots 1/4" groups at 100yds, longest shots so far have been at 600 and they were 2.5" groups. All with factory ammo. Love my Tikka rifles for hunting but I'm having a ball with the HMR. Many similarities and a few differences.

I think I would spend another $700-$1000 and find a gunmaker to build off a Rem 700 action with choice of stock, barrel and trigger. That way you could speak to the stock makers and have them fix you up.
I agree with 7MMMagnum and go to a good gunsmith and let him measure you for a proper fit.He will know what stock to go with.
My mentor when I was young had a rifle that he loved the caliber but hated the stock so a gunsmith got the stock that fit him perfectly and even had a bit of cast (Can't remember if cast on or cast off, cast high or low) to make it align perfectly when he brought it up to shoot.
Choose a gunsmith that can measure for proper stock dimension.
Just my thoughts

How about a 700 dollar tikka and a 650 dollar afternaket stock like a AG composite with a sendero lite barrel channel. Shoot the crap out of it and down the road upgrade to a cf barrel in the cartridge of your choice. That stock will be night and day better than the factory stock and chances are it'll shoot sub 1/2" MOA in 6.5cm. Your in a semi custom rifle for 1500 bucks!

How about spending almost half as much as 1500 and get a rifle that already has a great stock that most likely shoots 1/4" MOA in 6.5 CM!

The OP's question is about the "most accurate factory rifle" not "the most custom less accurate rifle".

What gun are you referring to? I know it's not a tikka because you said "great stock".

They also offer the 6.5 Creed in the GRS Stock which I have one and it is the most comfortable and naturally feeling factory stock that I have ever owned. It is fully adjustable and shoots less that .5" and that's with factory Norma Golden Target 130 grains. I have not developed a handload yet, waiting to once fire the ammo that I have.

It really is a great stock configuration; same as the $3-4,000 models. You can get them in the same configuration in various synthetic and camo patterns, even laminate if you want. Both my Sauer 100 and Mauser 6.5 Creedmoors shot way less than 1/2 MOA right out of the box. My son came home from college and even after not shooting a rifle for a year, he shot 1/2 MOA with Norma whitetail ammo At 200 yards.
