Pretty darn good in more ways that simply great velocity accuracy.

I figure the V3 will pay for itself in a fairly shot time.

You will be glad you purchased this chrono. I have a V2 and I am 100% satisfied.

I'll just ad that not wondering about the vel values is an absolute relief. Easy to use too. The only thing it will not let you do is zero your rifle with it on. I have not noticed any drop in accuracy with it on, just a change in poi. But I have found that because I always get accurate numbers I don't need as many shots through the chrono to feel comfortable about the data. Enjoy it.

I have the V3 and love it. Zero POI changes on three different rifles

I have both the V3 and the sporter. Both work great, but I like the V3 the best. The extra features are worth the extra cost.

You will enjoy the chrono, and as others have said the accurate numbers are a plus right from the start.
