I am considering a 25-06 for hunting and just plain shooting, hopefully budget around $500 mark and for me 500 is long range for hunting. I would like to target shoot longer ranges but not for hunting.
I would like advise on the cartridge and different brands/makes and the old barrel lenght debate. 22"vs24"vs26"
Why the 25-06? because I dont have one and there is an empty slot in the safe....
