Looking to get a new 7mag but don't want to go full custom. Some where in the $1300-$2000 range
What would you choose christensen arms, bergara, ect...

Right now I have a christensen arms mesa long range 300prc that shoot sub moa. So kinda leaning towards another one. But would like to check my options
Thanks guys

It would be hard to, out shoot, a Tikka T-3, in 7 mm Rem Mag for, the Price !
Add an adjustable cheek Riser, an Ernie or, Elay Precision trigger Spring and, a Limb Saver Pad,.. DONE !
All you need to do, is Match the Bullet, to the Twist ( check Forums here and, on Accurate Shooter for, Advice ).
I believe that, they will shoot, the 154 grainer's to, 168 gr. H-VLD's, REAL,.."Good", like,.. Sub, 3/4 MOA, good !
Put the rest of your Money into, a Zeiss Conquest, V-4,.. 4 x 16 and go Kill, chit !

Savage, Tikka, sako, older remington
I've got a savage ultralight in 280 ai, and it's ugly, the action was pretty rough (cleaned it up with a Dremel and jeweler's rouge), and the stock isn't great. But it's a flat out shooter! I was shooting silhouettes at 600 yards like they were 200 yards.

Honestly while there will always be "lemons" by any company it's just downright impressive what capability of rifle can be had within the confines of the budget you mention.

I'm a big fan of savage 111 models and weatherby vanguards, both can be had for a lot less than the upper end of your budget and are offered in an ever increasing variety of configurations with good aftermarket support.

I have no personal experience with Browning or Remington, amazingly, just never ended up with them yet, but browning is leading the charge for mainstream rifles in old school cartridges with long barrels and faster twist rates that let them shine to potential. And from everything I've been seeing (including handling some new model 700s at th store the other day) Remington has cleaned up their act and is putting out a butt-kicking rifle once again. I wouldn't hesitate to "pull the trigger" on savage, weatherby, Remington, or browning.

This may infuriate some and it's just my opinion….but I think tikka and ruger are overpriced and overrated for what they are.
