What's the specs on the LG, stock action etc? 6.5/284 as well?

The LG is a Hart action Hart trigger McMillan stock with a Kreiger barrel 8.5 Twist in the photo I had a B&L 6x24 it now wares a 24x Leupold

I would go with a bit longer tube if your going with the 300 Tomahawk and plan on using the 240 gr bullets.

Mine has a 34" barrel and works just fine. It weighs in at 22# with a sleeved action and an 1.250" Straight barrel. It has a Bear laminated stock.

22# is a little more than I would like to carry in the mountains I am thinking about using one of the laminated Bear stocks for this project did you add weight to the stock? Is this barrel in a block or supported by the action?
