LH twist barrel

Any of y'all have any experience with a LH twist barrel? My 25-06 shoots like a dream and noticed its the only LH twist gun I own.

Ran it out to 800 yards today on some vicious rocks that were too big.

Here's a pic taken from breech end of my encore. You may have to zoom in, but it looks LH to me. Bullet spins counter-clockwise.

Fluke or not, it sure does shoot the 115 Bergers good!

I once asked Satern Barrels to make me a lefthanded barrel. I waited ten months for ZERO progress. The thing is, setting-up to cut lefty twists is a long process; it takes away time for cutting righty twists. The righties get cut first because that's the way everybody believes a barrel is to be cut, and the lefties get pushed to the bottom of the orders list until "there is time" or "incoming orders are a bit slow" to cut the lefties. Well, there are always more orders coming in, so the lefties never get cut. That's the ugly truth of it; ain't no way around it...

I canceled my order after 300 days, got in touch with Hart and had a righty-twisty in 90 days. To top it off, Hart's barrel is wickedly accurate. I paid $360-some for the barrel in 416R stainless and another $150-some to have six wide and de-e-e-e-e-ep flutes machined into its twenty-seven inches of gorgeous fatness. Looks dam-ned good!

My Rock River AR has a lefty twist. It shoots just as good as any other rifle I've had. Just got to remember your going to drift left way out there.

Left hand twist barrels usually get shipped to the southern hemisphere to account for polarization magnetism effect , pretty rare in these parts.

I shoot a 7mm 9 tw LH Mark Chanlyn barrel in my 7 saum. I cannot see one reason a left tw would be any less or more accurate than a righty.
Of coarse your bullet is spinning the opposite direction, but any decent ballistic app will compensate for things.
I see on SH, seems to be a rave over Bartlien left twist, gain twist offerings. Unless it is all supporter speak, they must be doing it right, for no bad words, and a small amount of claims being made.
