leupold long range

Oct 21, 2002
I guess this is directed toward darryl cassel because i know he shoots the 8.5-25*50mm LR leupolds but also to anybody else who shoots them. What is the maximum distance that you all can see 338 caliber bullet holes with these scopes?

I'd say don't worry about how far you can distinctly see a certain caliber hole. I've shot to 3000 yd.s with a MKlV, You don't see the holes but you know it hit. (Because there's a guy down range with a radio that will tell you.)

Shoot the group, then look, at the longer ranges.
