Leupold \"long range\" base???

I'm thinking about trying one of the Leupold "long range" bases and was wondering if any of you guys have used them??? I plan to use Burris Signature rings so I have the option of using offset rings if I run out of elevation

I have them on 3 of my rifles. One is on a 30-06 that has no trouble getting to 1000. They give you about 15 minutes though not 20.
