Thanks guys! That r-15 is a heck of a good rifle. I know there's a lot better varmint AR's out there but I snagged that one for $700 new and slapped an ebay Nikon m223 scope on it and with some time at the reload bench she turned out to be an impressive little rig!

Here are a few of mine as I get ready for a P'dog shoot in WY. Cooper Varminter in 223 and a custon 6.5/284 made for me by Mike Bryant a few years back, pretty much had anything between the end of the bench and 1500 yards covered!

My prevous picture is a Remington 264 WM with Shilen 30" barrel 1 in 8 twist with 6-18 Nikon Buck Masters with BDC. Sierra 85gr hp 3900fps


This is a DPMS 338 Federal with Bushnell 4.5-30 50mm 6500 Elite with mil dot for elk size varmint.

Here are a couple of my Varmint Rifles.

First is the Yellow Mistress!
Started out as a Rem 700 ADL in 30-06, then was striped and barrel removed and put a new 22-250 barrel, then clean up the stock and added some wood then filled it in with bondo. After completed I put 5 coats of white primer, and 14 coats of yellow, and covered it with 10 coat of clear.

Next is a AR-15 with a .204 upper on it. Let my wife shoot it a couple years back and now she claims it every time we go PD shooing.

Its well worth the trade to have her want to go with me and shoot it.
