Just over 400 yards 115gr 25-06 This is my only Berger kill so far. I am coverting from the Barnes Band wagon. The one picture is of the exit hole. Since I liked it so much I will steal the saying this nasty critter "folded up like a fat man in a cheap lawn chair".

Rooster, That was a bullet well spent!! Good job and nice shot!! Oh, feel free to use that saying as much as you want. :D It goes hand in hand with Bergers.

Hunter, that's Nice!

I'm having a good time wit this thread, I love looking a pictures like the ones in here.

Time to post a few more Berger Kills. I use to shoot Barnes, but after tracking 2 elk from non expanding bullets for over a mile and not recovering one I went to find a better killing bullet. I have since seen many elk run off carrying solid bullets with them. Most we recover but it sure is nice to watch them fall where you shot them. That is what the Bergers do for us. And taking a dozen or more elk each year this is important to an elk hunter. Hunters that take lots of game in many dfferent scenarios like Bob Beck, use Berger for a reason.
