Introducing the Absolute Hammer

Well Superformance is out for me, I just tested it today and from 80F to 50F I lost 75 fps while my 153 Berger/H1000 loads are almost exactly the same. Going to get into it again tomorrow with Hybrid 100V in the 6.5 PRC with the 109gr and 123gr and the 178's in a .300 win mag.
Looking forward to the H100V/123 results.

Well, this should find me pressure somewhere. The last load of 42.5gr was about 98% case full with Lapua brass and the 123 seated at 2.875.

Well I just shot a little. Loaded up some 123 ah with some newly aquired H100v. Dont know why with the rifle doing so well with RL-26.( 6.5x257 weatherby 1-9 twist) But you know...Any way loaded 59g H100v 3.400 col fed 215m. Pretty light load, but about a 3 inch group. Yuck. Upon further examination I discovered the bullets are key holing the target. Dont know why but I guess I will be pulling the rest of the ladder and just sticking with the RL-26. Buoght some superformance too...Why cant we just leave well enough alone?LOL

Here is the RL-26 Data. Why do you guys think it wont stabilize the 123's with H100V?
They're meant for a 1-8 twist, and when Steve recommends an 8, that's the minimum. It's more for terminal performance. You are getting enough velocity at your elevation with the R26 to probably just barely stabilize them. The 109's should absolutely scream in your bee, and it would stabilize them.

I read that before I bought them, but had to try. I loaded 59, 60, 61, 62 and 63 grains of the H100V. Would you move on up or just stick with the RL-26. Will be headed to Colorado in a month deer hunting/ long range shooting. Im sure it will be stable there. If not, I will have the ole trusty MOA 270wsm and 170g eol's

Disappointed to here about the bad temp stability with superformance.
