If you were limited to three centerfire rifles, one for varmits, one for medium size big game and one for the larger stuff, what would they be? My choices would be a 223rem, 25-06, and a 338 Win Mag.
130gr. 180gr. 208-215gr. 30-06
Haha.
Seriously, 223. 30-06. 338, of some flavor
You definitely can not deny the effectiveness of the good 'ol 270 Winchester.I was going to say the '06 but I LOVE my .270 with 140gr SSTs and BTSPs and it is a proven rifle out to 750yds! I wouldn't shoot anything bigger than whitetail at that range, but it shoots great and I know it will sit deer down at 700yds!

Target - .308 Win
Varmint/Deer - .25-06 AI
LR shooting/Hunting - 7mm STW
I'm surprised you didn't include the .30-06 AI, .280 AI, or 7mmRM.
I picked the top 3 that were also each in their own category, and not overlapping.
