If I Was The Devil . . . .

If I was the devil, I'd want total control of the population. I'd start by disarming the entire population in America. You might think this is an impossible task, but it's an easy job -- for me. I'd just wait for a tragic shooting to occur, and then I'd inspire my friends (liberal politicians) to whip out their prepared anti-gun legislation. I can always fool emotional liberals into clamoring for more protection from guns . . . . no problem there.

To enslave the population, I'd also need to make ammunition impossible to acquire. With ammo suppliers all over America, you would think this is a major task, but it's another easy job -- for me. I'd buy more than a billion of rounds of ammo, and I'd tell Americans that our ammo would just be used to protect them from terrorists. However, that purchase would only be a small dent in the ammo supply of the United States.

That's not nearly enough. I'd want to collect virtually ALL ammunition and leave nothing. I'd simply get a few government agencies to purchase virtually all of the remaining ammunition under a jillion fictitious names. After all, money is no problem. I'll just print more money, or get it from raising taxes. Most shooters will think I had nothing to do with it, and they would probably think the ammo shortage is caused by their own panic buying.
Ha Ha .... This is so easy -- for me.

Larry, Good post, and it is what is going on in this nation lately without a doubt. I'm glad that I have a supply of loaded ammo and more components in the loading room. Some aren't as lucky.

jkupper ..........

Trust me ...... this information will go right over the heads of many shooters. Our Second Amendment will only survive if enough shooters understand why our gun rights (and others) are being attacked.

No doubt. I've been posting on facebook like crazy as of late trying to get everyone's attention. Let's look at the list:

1. Banning firearms
2. "civil unrest detention centers" = concentration camps built
3. Buy up all available ammunition
4. Make it legal to target American citizens with drone strikes and no due process, even if threat is not imminent
5. UN arms treaty
6. Proposed legislation against the 1st Amendment
7. Proposed laws to do away with term limits for the President
8. Creating a majority of sheeple with entitlements, and legalizing millions of ilegals (with no attempt to secure the borders) so as to not have to worry about votes.
9. Vilification of gun owners and painting them out to lack "common sense" to the sheeple.

and I could go on and on and on

Why do they force the removal of a picture of Jesus from a school in which the students are okay with it, but it is okay to have murals of Obummer painted on the walls of hundreds of schools?

People need to wake up to the seriousness of what is going on around us and become proactive!

If I were the devil, Larry'a post would be my second phase.

First phase would require that I dumb down our educational system and convert it to a social indoctrination system; my schools would quitely eliminate any meaningful teaching of history and the Constitution, govenment would become the care taker of the people. Topics like honor/integrity/morality/work ethic would be replaced with 'do your own thing, no one has any truth on their side. Students would be taugth that the world owes everyone an equal life style as those who actually work, all in the name of social fairness you know.

Then, after several decades of such teaching, the population would be intellectual deserts; lazy pot smokers who are largely couch potatoes and love to watch 'reality' TV shows but haven't a clue what an active free life means. Those people would easily be manipulated by a lock-step entertainment/news media into a puppet society that will meakly follow where ever the gobbermint leads. And gobbermint would lead to public disarmament - for our own good of course. We are there now.

Second phase would be as Larry describes.

Larry, you and I think alot alike. Very good post! I might have to check out your website sometime.

Everyone be safe out there, and if we band together, we might have a chance to fight this evil that is trying to be infringed and forced upon us.

Have to agree...................."This aint no technological breakdown, This is the road, this is the road to hell".

Great read Larry and SO VERY TRUE. Sad and scary but true. If you were the devil, all you would need is a bunch of sheep. Oh wait, you have them...............

...........I would also run the post office out of business so no more letters are mailed and everyone has to use e-mail. Lots easier to read e-mails instead of letters......

HARPERC ........

He's a whole lot smarter than that. The devil's best trick is convincing so many people that he doesn't exist.

Respectfully disagree, that is an important part no doubt. Those folks are always present, what tips the scales is the folks who know, supporting a person or idea that is not what it appears. Its when evil resides in our church, our friends, our co-workers, our neighbors, and especially ourselves, and we are blinded by it, that evil gets the upper hand.

HARPERC ..........

At what point will it get noticed that evil is already upon us?

<One simple example .....>

We've had well over 50 million legal abortions performed (in the U.S.) since Roe vs. Wade. The moral fabric of our country is being destroyed, and our Constitution is in jepardy.

My point is that threats to our Second Amendment are very real (and obvious). Those threats need to be openly discussed. It's especially dangerous when we become so politically correct that many of us are too timid to speak up.

Read the Famous Quotes section on my website, and I think you'll agree.
