ideas for new scope

I have a 208AI with a sightron 6-24X50 scope. I have come to conclusion that I will never shoot out past 600 yards, but more likely 400 yards will be the longest shot.
I love the sightron, but just don't need that much scope.
I would like to stay with a 30mm tube, because I have nightforce 300mm rings.
Also am thinking max power 14, so a scope say 4-12 or 4-14. Any ideas for a reasonable priced scope??? Would like to get another leupold.

If it was me, I would stick with Sightron (since I'm a big fan and all my scopes are Sightron). The SII Big Sky are excellent and they have the 4-16 x 42mm or 3-12x

What reticle and focal plane is the sightron? Is it the Siii? Would you consider a trade?

The sightron I have is the S3 with mil-dot reticle and second focal plane.
