Unfortunately, most modern stocks don't have enough drop at the heel to effectively use open sights. They look good, though!

one has to know his smith, or have had work done before , mine been using for some time now and had a few rifles done. My best smith died a few years back and meet this one from him at his shop. A Good SMITH is like a priest- tell him all your problems / worries !!!!
