Hornady Brass Basic Mag

Hornady offers a case called Basic Mag Family brass.Does this mean it can be used to form cases for most any belted magnum? There is not much info on their website asto exactly what it is.As for price,Powder Valley has it for $34 for 50 cases.It could be a fairly inexpensive way to make a good quality 7STW.

Yes that is what it is for. I believe you would need forming dies thou, not just standard FL dies

Depending on what fl dies you have they could be used in succession to form the round without special dies. I've made plenty of 7stw's from 375h@h brass so the belted mag basic wouldn't be much of a stretch. the 458 lott and 416 rem would fall in the if I had to bucket also.
