Horizontal spread 230 berger Hybrid

I have been trying some new retumbo loads for my 300 win mag due to lack of H-1000, and I have a couple that have perfect vertical but have a 3" horizontal dispersion at 200 yds. Can this be corrected with seating depth changes? This load repeats time after time to ensure I was doing my part and wind was not a factor.

Hey Don I had the same thing with my 6.5 284 bumped up my charge from 51-53 GR and at 53 I got a perfect horizontal line without any vertical so I started adjusting seating depth in by 5 thou increments giving bullet more jump ,and my groups kept getting better ,and today I settled on 40tho off lands with a 1.12" 3 shot group at 200 yards I may try seating deeper to see if this tightens up even more but that will have to wait until renos are done now .
My original load of 51 GR has to be 10 thou off lands to get a good group .
