Earlier this month I bought a Henry big boy 357 Mag rifle. Brought it home, bore scoped it, dirty and copper fouled. I cleaned it and found one of the roughest bores I've ever seen. Looked like someone fired a handful of nails thru it. Decided to see how it shot so to the range I went. It copper fouled in 2 shots and after about 30 rounds I cleaned and it took 3 hours to clean. Contacted Henry CS about returning it and sent them the bore pic thats attached here. They sent me a return label and off it went.
Eight days later (yesterday) returned. New barrel, tightened fore grip and test fired. I bore scoped it to find a much better bore. Hope to shoot it today. The owner stands by his word. Their CS is awesome. Makes me wonder however it any more of those barrels got out into the wild.
