I have never used HAMMER bullets. Main reason is that I have thousands of other bullets to use up. But now I know not to hunt with them if I am hunting ballistic gelatin. Use what you and your firearm like and works for you.

It's hard for me to take some people seriously.
And with very mediocre BC I don't know why they would be considered "long range" bullets.
Furthermore I've read plenty times where a plugged tip causes the same issue in Berger bullets.
And likely any other HP.?

Yes. Read the comments on the YT channel. Then draw a conclusion. I bought Hammers bullets. Will hopefully be loading them soon. I think they should perform just fine for my usages.

That guy is a self proclaimed expert.If he told me it was raining I would still go outside and check it for myself.
I have used and still use Hammer bullets with great success.

Ditto here. I used the 166 HH in my .300 WSM on my last two hunting trips. Harvested 11 animals in Namibia and one jumbo black bear on Vancouver Island. The bullets performed flawlessly. Not only do the bullets perform well, but you can actually buy them when you need them. When you call the manufacturer a real person answers the phone and answers any questions you have. I haven't found anything not to like about the Hammer bullets or the company.

Guys like that **** me off! Self proclaimed experts looking for the "fatal flaw" to push their following. "Why I won't use hammer bullets" ok sure, but lay off the lecture and don't tell me what I should do.. Especially when it's a small company that's innovating and offering options and doesn't have the resources of a Hornady or Sierra. I'd trust the dozens of hunters that have used them over some gel shooting YouTuber. Rant over.

This is old news and fake news...that being said I don't shoot hammers anymore. There are better options.

My guess is he reached out and wanted free bullets but got told no and now his feeling were hurt…. Could be wrong but who knows
