GLTaylor, here is the rest of the set of data for nosler 33 260gr. Hammer hunters, R16 same information just finished the ladder test after realizing I was getting false ejector marks.
Temp today was 85 degrees.

70gr. 2761 fps
70.5gr 2782 fps
71 gr failed to read
71.5gr failed to read (stiff bolt)
( Note to those using the magnetic trigger on labradar it will stick to a carbon barrel but will not stay on for the ride!)
72gr. 2865 Too Hot!! Bolt stuck

Going to load up 70.5gr. R16 And test for groups
Along with 78.5gr. H1000 both running around 2,780 fps

Will keep posted!
After this hunt outwest, I'm gonna follow ButterBean and drop down to lightweight and let them rip! For whitetails

my father has a carry gun in one and then he has a throated out single feed long range setup for long range hunting.
I always wanted carbon barrel and at the time I couldn't buy components cheaper than just the completed gun so purchased the CA.

Not yet. I'm shooting through a load of 250 grain Bergers. I wasn't happy with their performance on game, so I've got a box of hammers on the reloading bench screaming for attention.

It's not a hammer, but I load the 180 TTSX in my dad's 30-06 (22.4" barrel) @ 2780 using 56.0 gr of staball. No pressure at all, but he had a custom turret made so that is the speed he wanted. Lol.

Same barrel on son's 700ADL so I decided to set up 2 ladders; one with RL16 but realized powder bulk density will be problem so will see where it ends up being so full and good old W760 which I have found to be a really good match to Hammers in other cartridges as well. Hope to be at range tomorrow so will post up.

Went with three rounds of 69.5 to confirm and shot a .4 moa group at 300 yards

I forgot it's a 155 hammer hunter. coal is 3.520 and that's .020 jump. A total of 12 rounds for load development. I will shoot at 800 soon and confirm drops and bc
