Hammer Hunter in 270?

I'm using the standard h4831. If I would've known more about it I would've gotten the short cut version:(.
Moderate meaning you're not likely to have any issues. You should get good case life, reliable performance, etc. A good family car kind of load.

H4831 is kind of the standard .270 load that everything else is judged against. When I loaded for my son in law this summer it's what I picked.

Remind me are you using the short cut version.

I used 56 grains of the short cut with the 145 Hammer. I could probably get 2 more grains in, but this was working well. Just for reference on the the short cut as it relates to case capacity. Actual case capacities will vary as well.

I began load development with the 124 HH for a Nosler M48 1-10 .270. Nothing spectacular but had just began. Got a deal on another brands 129 gr solid, so am loading those now.
I load the 169 HH in a 28N with great velocity and accuracy. No doubts about the bullets for me.
