He was broadside facing to the right first shot. Hit shoulder hard and the petals tore up some lung. Found one petal in the hide. Both front shoulders were broke from the first shot
He turned 180 degrees and I told him to shoot again, it was unnecessary but when an elk is still standing keep shooting. Second shot was off some and got liver but that shot put the bull down
I wasnt there when they butchered him up so no photos of the carcass unfortunately.

I'm very happy with performance. In fact I'm probably going to get a load with them in my creedmoor and 6.5-284. Then again may just keep shooting everything with this 280AI!

Ever had issues with petals in meet? I think that's my biggest worry at this point.

I've yet to get one, but I'm not too worried about a piece of copper.
