gunsmith pricing

So, I am in the process of putting together my first truly custom rifle. I have a Gunwerks GRB SA, Hawkins DBM M5 bottom metal, Trigger tech trigger, and still thinking about the stock. I will likely go with a 22" (proof) carbon barrel and plan to chamber it in 6.5 PRC.
Now, the question: how much should I expect a gunsmith to charge for chambering, and fitting the barrel to the action as well as threading the end and having a blended thread cap constructed?
Anyone knows a gunsmith around the twin cities in MN who can competently accomplish it? (I have mixed experience with previous smiths...)

Ps.: If you have an unchambered 22" (proof) 6.5 mm carbon barrel lying around please let me know, I might just buy it ;-)

300-400 for thread chamber and 100-150 for thread and protector.

I'd say plan to spend $1000-$1200 in GS, including bedding the stock, and shipping with insurance if you don't find someone local.

Thank you! Honestly, I am a bit surprised about the prices, but I guess inflation affects all aspects of life... If this is the going rate, I will just have to pay it ;-)

Installing a muzzle brake is cheaper. ~$100-150 (depending on where you are) to thread the muzzle + the cost of the muzzle brake ($50 and up).

Find a gunsmith who does great work have them do it don't worry about what it costs. Trying to save money will lead you to inferior work. Ask me how I know!
