Grinding a Timney Trigger

I picked up a nickle Timney trigger. However I'm not crazy about the wide trigger face. Was talking to a smith and he indicated they can be ground to narrow them. I have the grinding tools. Figured I'd grind down the sides to get it closer to the factory width and then polish up the edges similar to a factory trigger. Anyone ever do this or have any suggestions.

No problems customizing the trgger in this way that I'm aware of. Go for it.
