Bought a weatherby vanguard obsidian in 25-06 a few months back, loaded up some 75gr vmax, it did .6 at 100 ( bottom rt group), then put it in the corner for deer season. Well eurooptic.com had a sale on mdt oryx chassis for 289.00 thar are regular 540.00. So now it's chassied, and gonna pop that 4x16 off for a thermal here shortly. How's a 75 vmax going 3,750 for saving fur??

Nice setup! 75gr VMAX at 3750fps will vaporize fur. Excellent for coyotes.

Get her to shoot like my Savage Axis II with an E.R. Shaw 24" sporter barrel in 250 Savage and you'll do better.
75gr Sierra HP Varmint at 3,150fps.
5 shot group at 200 meters.
Wind gust caught me out on my last shot.

Switch over to the 90gr Sierra BlitzKing and you have an easy 400 yard gun.
