Today was the day my daughter took her first shots. She's five. That's a pink Savage Rascal.

Fantastic! Shooting , fishing, hunting, camping, all of the time you spend with her she is forming her definition of what a man should be and what you will end up with as a Son-in-law. My daughter is 28 now and we share alot of great experiences and best of all are always planning the next. She is married and I really enjoy hunting, fishing, and just being around the Son-in-law as well. Savor these years, they goes FAST!

WTG, Dad, and congrats all around. I, too, started my sons at age 5, 30+ years ago.

Doesn't get any better than this, good on you for getting her after it. I started my 9 year old granddaughter fly fishing when she was 6, she loves it!

(we have 8 g-kids between 4 and 26 they all started out early, some of them riding along in my day pack almost before they could walk

Absolutely. As soon as she was ready to go we called it and quit. She was happy and wants to go again.

I started my son even earlier on a small Cricket 22 single shot and CB Shorts. Then added a cheap reflex sight to it a bit later.
Enjoy these times when they are young. They go by awful fast!
