Finding a recoil lug

Like to find a Rem700 recoil lug that is cut at 1.350 OD around
the top, same diameter as the action. (Also want it to be thicker.)

Any leads please ?

There is also David Tubbs .250" recoil lug, it's twice as thick as standard and can be ground to any thickness or diameter you want.
This is what I use on my 700's, it's got tapered sides, makes stock removal easy.

First, thanks Gents !

So far I've looked on Midway, Brownell, Ebay, and PTG & Tubbs websites.

They all give thickness. They all have pictures. Some give the hole I.D.

Only a couple have shown the O.D. of the upper portion.

None so far show 1.350" upper O.D.

Just curious, but I am guessing you are going to make the barrel shank OD the same as the OD of the action.
If so, I'm all for it.

Any competent job shop can machine one for you.

I am with you. any local machine shop can make it. You just need to make sure to tell them the type of steel you want and take the action where they can make a pattern.

My smith just put this one on mine. It's a couple thou under 1.5".

Said he has them in stock (dunno the source). Dave Sullivan (303) 828-3823

Pierce says yes. Their lug is a factory-style shape & thickness,
OD is 1.350, factory 1.062+ bore. Also available in titanium.

KBP Arms, 1.350, .250 thick, Tubbs-style angled profile, center
bore 1.075 for oversized barrel threads.
