Finally finished my first long range rifle!

Started with a savage 10 predator max 1 and ended with this!
Used the 6.5 creedmoor barreled action
Added choate tactical stock with krylon bar coating and webbing over it!
Finished with a 6.5-24x40 vortex viper pa.
See what I get for groups the I will post some pics for everyone!

Im working on the exact same rifle for myself right now. savage model 10 predator Max 1 in 6.5 creedmoor also left handed. Did you bed the action or the scope base? I was goin to bed the action but figured I would see how it shot first. And I will be bedding the scope base. Also any plans for any upgrades?

I am going to take it out this weekend and see how it shoots I might need a bad job cuz the recoil lug channel is huge on this stock the original accuastock had a nice tight channel for it! But not really to much was going to get it threaded for a suppressor and do some loading that's about it ill let u know how it shoots this weekend!!! Trying out the 120 gr amax match rounds so we will see how that goes.

120grain bullet? Are you going to be holding your shots inside 400? If you plan to shoot past 400, look at the 140 class bullets.

Hmmm I did not know that... I been hunting all my life but never paid attention to ammo or bullet weight! So thank u for the input I am taking it to wy for mule deer thus fall.

In this case, definitely look at the 140grain bullets. In Wyoming the wind BLOWS. A calm day is 8-10mph.

Was the lower right "flyer" Your first shot ???

OK, just curious, a lot of times the first round will fly off a bit then, the barrel gets "fowled" and brings the following shots all into a closer group.

Ohhh it may be possible I will have to check next time this was the first trip out with it
