Top one is a 300RUM. Bottom one is a 6.5/284.
I just wanted to say thank you to everyone for answering all of my dumb questions along the way. Can't wait to go shoot!

Here is a target for the 6.5.
I tried 5 different initial loads. This is the one I went with. It's no where near the 3000 fps that other are getting. I am hoping the speed picks up.
Disclaimer - someone else was doing load development for me.
4 shots 1.090 @ 300 yards. 140 gr. VLD-H, Lapua brass,
Headed to NM tomorrow to take a goat. I'll report back.

This was his best load out of 5 different recipes.
4 shots, 2.030 @ 300 yards. 210 gr. VLD-H, 3145 fps.
He will be along in NM, ought to have fun with this.
