Thought I'd drop some pictures of Dev's 338 Edge.
Rem 700
HS Precision stock
DE Cheekpiece
DE Recoil lug
DE 1" brake
Hart 30" 1-10 barrel fluted
Seekins detachable box mag
Harris 9-13" w pod loc
DE ACI/ACD mount with Sniper Tools cosine indicator

Test fired 3 shots .268" @ 100 yards those were shots 3, 4 & 5 out of the rifle.

Shawn I also have another question. Is that a 56mm in the .885 rings? If so, Is the cheek piece really needed with the scope mounted that low? Having never used one I'm trying to decide if I "need" one.

Are the HS Precision stocks that you use the same as the HS stocks that come with the Senderos?

The gun was originally a 700 PSS in 300 RUM.

Shawn....Holy $#!@ that thing looks awesome. I cant wait to get my hands on it. I truly appreciate you letting everyone know how well it shoots. I am sure that will help them understand how weak my skills are when I report how it shoots with me behing the glass.

I cant say enough about how well Shawn worked with me to put together a rifle that fit my needs and wants (Plenty of wants in this one!) Anybody looking for a builder who knows his stuff and takes the time to figure out exactly what you want, he is the man!

It is a 50mm with 1.00" rings (fat barrel). I beleive you need a cheekpiece with anything 50mm or larger on a 700.

Thought I read on another post here re the 338 Edge, that this cartridge was a 300RUM opened up to 338. Wouldn't that make it a 338RUM?
