Deburring flash hole Lapua brass? + grns water 338 LM vs 338/300RUM

Is this a needed step with Lapua .338 LM brass to obtain max accuracy / consistancy? I haven't sectioned a case but the flash hole sure does look burr free from peeking in there with a light.

Also, just for fun I weighed the water content of Norma and Lapua .338 LM brass vs. RP 300 RUM brass.

They were virtually identical. 113 grains for for the .338 LM and 113.3 for the 300 RUM.

Sadly, finding good 300 RUM brass is difficult.

I still deburred the flash holes on the .338 lapua brass used in the .338 MOAG because even if there are no burrs, it will still help powder ignition to have a nice smooth bevel on the inside of the flash hole. I think it helps, and the groups at 2k with the MOAG said, "thank you!"

I know what you mean,Lapua brass sure is perrty.Thats why its $1.30-$1.60 a piece compared to std. production brass.
