I have fire formed brass for my .280 AI with mixed results due to the quality of some brass. Nosler brass gives me best results and am thankful they produce the brass. I'm having the hardest time getting my hands on Peterson brass which I prefer. There are some nice quarter bores out there but I love PO's version of the 25-06!

I'm very interested in how it compares to N570.

Last range trip, Wenesday the 11th, 2 shots at ram shilouette @500 meters...once again....good enough...2 hits lower right heart area, considered using on upcoming pronghorn hunt, but borders (just a little) on overkill !!!!!!! rsbhunter

Custom built 300 rum, hart #5 contour barrel with brake, McMillan gamescout stock, Timmey trigger, nightforce shv 5-20x56 with moar reticle illuminated. Gun hasn't even had full box of bullets ran through it. Has two boxes of custom loaded accubonds with recipe on and some other ammo to go with. Asking $3,250 with scope or 2,200 without. Gun outperforms me. I shot a 1/2" group at 300 yards with. At the time I was wanting to start long range hunting but fell in love with bow hunting and now she is a safe queen.

I bought my 300 rum from another member on the site, very happy with it. Bell and Carlson stock, 700 trued action, Wyatt's 3.8 box mag, trigger tech trigger, 25" carbon christanson barrel and Holland brake and nightforce 20 moa rail. Bare gun was just over 7 lbs. With seekins rings and march 2.5x25x52 illuminated scope it weighs 9.6 lbs. Shoots 210 bergers at 3070 fps and puts them in one hole.

The weight on those March scopes is a gamechanger. These boat anchors I have on mine are almost 1/3 the weight of the rifle.
