CSR Brake question

Hello all, I have a question I was hoping someone could answer. I'm having my .300 Win Mag rebarrelled with a Shilen #4 contour barrel that is .650" at the muzzle. I sent an email to Center Shot rifles asking if the standard muscle brake would work because I like the slab sided look. He said it would not and I need a CSR brake.

I want to know if the CSR brake is ported the same as the muscle brake. In other words, is the first port the 90 deg and the others slanted forward?

Yeah I sent a follow up email and didn't get a response so that's why I'm asking here...and it doesn't say on the website about the port direction of that CSR brake...

From reading the poop on the website, it looks like the mini muscle brake might work.

I telephoned Jim once with a question about his brakes which he was happy and able to answer quickly on the phone. Sometimes that's easier than writing up a lengthy explanation in an email.
